Returns Policy

  • Contact us to arrange for any returns. Some parts are non-returnable, please contact us to verify. 
  • A copy of the invoice will need to be included with the return.
  • There is a 25% restocking fee charged against all returned parts.
  • Parts under $8.00 are not returnable.
  • Orders placed without a provided VIN are not returnable.
  • Parts must be resalable and in the original packaging.
  • We cannot take back used parts.
  • We cannot take back installed or tried parts.
  • Electrical parts are not returnable.
  • If the part number label is damaged or missing, returns will not be accepted.
  • We do reserve the right to refuse and return any parts we find have been installed, are used, or do not meet the above criteria.
  • Return requests need to be within 30 days of receipt.
  • Normally, it takes 5-10 business days to process returns
  • To receive credit for the core charge, the part must be sent back to your supplier in the original box, must be an original OEM part, and no external damage to the housing/part. A refund will be applied after we have received and inspected the core.

Cancellation Policy

  • An order or a portion of an order may be cancelled up until the time it is shipped and no longer in our possession.
  • If the cancelled part was special ordered from the manufacturer a return fee of 15% may apply.

Honda Parts & Accessories Warranty

Parts or accessories purchased from Honda Parts Direct are distributed by American Honda and are warranted by American Honda for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of purchase. 

Replacement mufflers have a limited lifetime warranty. 

A pipes and B pipes purchased after November 1, 2005 have a limited lifetime warranty. 

Honda does not warranty replacement parts under the following conditions 

Any part(s) shipped outside of the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands 

Misused, abused, damage due to improper installation, attempted repairs performed, damage due to unreasonable wear 

Installed in vehicles used for racing/competition 

Deterioration cause by normal use or exposure 

Improper installation 

Installation on a vehicle for which it is not intended (ie other than vehicle on your invoice) 

Proof of purchase is unavailable (ie Honda Parts Direct invoice or packing slip) 

Maintenance items (v-belts, windshield wipers, air filters, etc.) unless failure is a result of manufacturer defect. 

Terms of Coverage 

Honda Motor Company will provide a repaired or replacement part for any genuine Honda part that is defective in materials or workmanship under normal use, at its option. The warranty does not cover the cost of installation or shipping.
